Lone Worker Location Technologies
The ability to locate your lone workers at any time is a key element in securing their safety. In commercial circumstances location information can also serve resource management purposes, enabling you to monitor the whereabouts and movements of your staff and assets. This data can be scheduled in accordance with client and subscriber requirements.
Positions are 'obtained' via a number of sophisticated monitoring technologies:
- Cell-site standard location service (Location API)
- Enhanced Cell ID database
- Global Positioning System (GPS).
These technologies work alongside the most accurate location method of all - the human voice. Lone workers can leave verbal details of their current position before entering a higher risk situation.
